We ask you to drop the van back off at our centrally based office at an agreed time (Lochrin Square, Fountainbridge).
What do I need to provide to enable me to book Bonnie?
You need to be over 25 years old and have a full, clean EU driving licence.
Can I take Bonnie anywhere?
Please keep Bonnie within the UK. Bonnie cannot be taken to music festivals or parked on beaches and if wild camping please proceed carefully and with sensitivity. Do not camp on private land.
There is a daily insurance fee for Bonnie which we will quote for you. Please not that this is in addition to the rental fee. It is approximately £25-35 a day
There is a refundable damage deposit of £1250 due in the 7 days up to the rental date and refunded 7 working days after drop off. We have a sign off form for you to sign confirming that you are happy with the van and its condition upon rental. Should it be returned with any damage or the van has been used in any way that is against the booking terms and conditions, we reserve the right to deduct a fair amount or the full amount of the deposit to cover any damage.
The van is strictly non smoking.
We love adventurous doggies but unfortunately Bonnie is not pet friendly - sorry!
How many people can Bonnie sleep?
Bonnie has 5 seats/seatbelts for driving. For sleeping she is perfect for a family of 4 or 3. If there are 4 adults then you would need to hire the awning as the pop up has a max weight limit of 150kg. The awning or canopy is a great idea anyway to give extra room and cover.
Can I rent Bonnie out in the winter?
Yes! She has central heating and is very cosy. We would recommend wearing appropriate clothing for nipping out to the toilet block and if sleeping in the pop up awning, as it can be a little cooler up there, warm layers are a good idea.
What extras can I hire?
Bonnie comes complete with extremely good quality crockery and cooking implements a table. We offer for hire the following extas:
- Bedding bundles which include luxury Duvalay sleeping bags and pillows
- Microfibre towels
- Bike Rack
- Sun Canopy
- Awning (can sleep an extra 2)
- Roof Box (Must be removed before pop-up roof is used)
- Child Car Seat
- Child Camping Seats
- 4 Adult Camping Chairs
